2016 New College Play announced!
Each year, New College produces a play which showcases the many talents of our community. This year’s selection, ‘The Man Who Came To Dinner’, is sure to be no exception.
George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart’s classic satire combines a delightful mix of oddball characters and cracking one-liners in a hilarious tale of romance and escalating mayhem. Complete with an axe murderer and an Egyptian mummy, the play follows the miserable but hilarious pitfalls of radio personality Sheridan Whiteside and his escapades with the loveable Stanley family.
Preparations have begun under the leadership of directors Josh ‘Pensive’ Green and Mirren ‘Sugar’ McGuire and Producers Henry ‘Noddy’ O’Callaghan and Annabelle ‘Sir Nigel’ Thorne. With some of college’s most vivacious personalities set to appear, and its many creative talents working behind the scenes, ‘The Man Who Came To Dinner’ is sure to continue New College’s tradition of dramatic excellence.
