2017 Ncv Winter Formal Dinner

2017 NCV Winter Formal Dinner

May 25, 2017

NCV residents and guests are invited to the Winter Formal Dinner to be held at 7pm on Thursday 25 May in the New College Dining Room.  The dress code is "Cocktail" (so guys in suits and the ladies looking nicely dressed in a party dress or Formal Wear from your country of origin - as your Senior Resident if you are not sure what the dress code means).

Our guest of honour and speaker at our winter formal dinner will be Dr. Robert Care AM.

Robert has had over 25 years experience as Director and then as Principal at Arup Australasia. His work with Arup includes 3 years in London as the Chair, United Kingdom Middle East Africa Region. As an engineering leader within an internationally-renowned organisation, Robert has played a major role in the development of Arup’s capabilities and culture over many years.  Robert has also made major contributions to several charitable organisations. The most widely known of these is RedR Australia which provides professional assistance during times of international crisis. During the six years that Robert served as a Director, he also was chair of that organisation for 2 years.  He has received many distinguished honours and awards including as an International Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, Engineers Australia’s Professional Engineer of the Year in 2014 and receiving an Order of Australia (General Division). Now as Principal of Care Collaborative, his focus is on coaching, mentoring and high performance team building. Robert has built and led high performance teams in diverse countries, cultures and economies.

It is our privilege to hear from Robert as he shares his extensive experience and widely appreciated approach to working with people to solve problems.

Attendance at the dinner is free for NCV Residents but you must RSVP by 5pm on May 18 to be able to attend.
