About Us
New College is an Anglican residential college at the University of New South Wales. Founded in 1969 New College provides accommodation and support for 250 under-graduate and post-graduate men and women who live in residence. The College seeks to provide a stimulating academic and social environment that supports learning and personal development.
New College is a community that is founded on Christian faith and values. Since its foundation the College has sought to demonstrate what it is to be Christian through its care and encouragement of residents. The pastoral care and academic nurture of resident members is the main focus of its activities but the College also seeks to provide opportunities for Christianity to be modelled and for residents to find out about Christianity if they so choose. In an effort to enrich campus life at UNSW the College provides opportunities for discussion and debate concerning Christianity and its relevance in modern society. It applies no religious tests on members of the College community but seeks to achieve its goals by supporting a Collegiate community on the campus of UNSW through:
- the provision of undergraduate and postgraduate accommodation, pastoral care and academic support;
- the encouragement of and provision for both personal growth in and corporate expression of the Christian faith;
- the development of scholarship and academic excellence.

- ∆ New College is located in Sydney - Australia's International city
