Our Vision for New’s Development & Growth

New College is facing an exciting period of growth and change as the College undergoes its first building redevelopment since opening in 1969. The New College Alumni Association is also attempting to raise its profile as a strong professional and social membership body comprising Collegians across the globe.

New College has implemented a building plan that has seen its amenities modernised and strengths enhanced, such as the addition of a new level of student accommodation based on the successful group design concept around the College courtyard. A second stage of development is planned for 2006.

Other projects that need significant funding are scholarships support, the completion of the College refurbishment, the Post Graduate Village Capital Campaign, the Master’s annual appeal and the College’s apologetics agendas.

Alumni, Friends and Supporters – Our Foundation

Similar to any educational institution New’s strength is its people and the support they provide in many and varied forms.  New College needs the help of its friends, supporters and alumni to complete its various projects.  One of the College’s biggest challenges is finding the sufficient funds to resource its advancement and ensure its expansion.

Financial support is needed to complete its building redevelopment and continue to attract the highest-calibre students on campus. In these pages are a range of options for how to support the College. We encourage you to select a way of supporting New College that reflects your interests, values and commitment to the College.

Donations can be made by contacting the College on telephone (02) 9381 1999 or email the alumni & public relations office.

Donations may be cash towards activities at the College or personal property (books, manuscripts, art, musical instruments or other collectibles) that can be displayed securely in the College on your behalf. All cash donations are tax deductible.
