Girl Power in the NCSA
For the first time in a decade, three talented young women have been elected as the New College Students’ Association trustees for 2017.
The last time New College saw an all-female executive was in 2006. Newly elected NCSA president Jacqui Willing is ecstatic to be heading up the group of girls.
“I'm absolutely thrilled to be elected Trustee of the NCSA alongside two incredibly strong, intelligent and capable women. The all-female Trustee team marks an amazing milestone for the College and promises a year filled with new opportunities and exciting ideas”, she says.
Jacqui will be leading the NSCA with Lydia Frazer (Secretary) and Clare Rogers (Treasurer) who share equally in her excitement.
The NCSA, in conjunction with the college, provide opportunities for residents to be involved in social, sporting and cultural activities. They organise an array of events and initiatives throughout the year, adding to the vibrancy of the College community.
“Over the course of 2017, I look forward to building upon New College's proud history to make all residents feel welcome and valued in this vibrant and close-knit community”, says Jacqui.
We look forward to seeing the great things that the NCSA have up their sleeves for the coming year.
