Application steps
- Complete an application online by clicking on Online Application (Link below) and answer all mandatory fields.
- To begin the online application process you need to register by Completing the Registration Details form through the New College Online Application Portal.
- Your New College Application registration will be confirmed with the following message being generated and displayed: "1. Registration Confirmed. In the future, you can use the following details to login: User Name: #####, Password: ######. To start a housing application please click here". You will then be directed to the Welcome to New College Housing Application Portal where you can continue with your application or Log Off to return later. You will be sent a Registration Confirmed email which will include your User number and PIN.
- To ensure your application is accepted and processed you must make payment to New College of a non-refundable Application Fee of $AUD25.00 (payment information and details below).
- To ensure your application is accepted and processed you must also provide support documentation from your two referees (personal and academic references). Please note that the College does not follow up your referees it is your responsibility to download the two reference forms here» and submit to your referees for completion & sending to New College (N.B. Once completed support documentation can either be sent by mail or emailed to admissions@newcollege.unsw.edu.au).
- Upon receipt of your New College application, Application Fee and support documentation (i.e. references), New College may contact you to arrange an interview.

1. Credit card (Visa, MasterCard or Bankcard)
2. Cheque or Money Order: A Bank Cheque, personal Cheque or Money Order made payable to ‘New College', and mailed to the attention of:

Please reference (or instruct your Bank to reference) your deposit/transfer with the term NCApp (or similar), your name and/or Student ID so that we can clearly identify your payment. If we cannot identify your payment, we may not be able to process your application.
It is advisable to check with your banking institution for their service and transaction fees and charges.
4. EFT-POS (Australian debit cards)
EFT-POS payments can be made in person at New College Reception.
To make payment you can simply enter your credit card details Online using the Application form in the "Comments/Payment/Room Type:" field (last field); by Mail (Credit card or Cheque/Money Order); via Phone (Credit card): +61 2 9381 1999 or Fax (Credit card): +61 2 9381 1909 (If Mail or Fax please supply your full name, credit card details and marked New College Village Application Fee).
