UNSW, located in the eastern suburbs, is just minutes away from the city and is easily accessible from Central Station and other major transportation hubs located throughout Sydney.
From Central Station, take a bus:

From domestic or international airports, take the 400 or 410 bus in the direction of Bondi Junction.
From Circular Quay take a 390-2, 394, 396-9 bus from Alfred St, Stand E
From City, catch a bus from Elizabeth St: 390-2, 394, 396-9

Most buses in Sydney are now prepay via an Opal card (https://www.opal.com.au/), available from most train stations (including the airport) and newsagents (including our friendly newsagent at New College Village).
Taxi fares to New College from most of these locations will be in the vicinity of $25.
The main UNSW campus is located on a 38 hectare site at Kensington. With nearly 1,700 UNSW Express Bus services per week, coupled with several other bus and train services available, the UNSW Kensington Campus is easy to get to via public transport no matter where you’re travelling from. The COFA Campus is located in the heart of Paddington and is within walking distance of major train stations and bus services. It is extremely well-serviced by public transport and is connected to Kensington Campus via regularly scheduled free shuttle services.
New College and its postgraduate college across the road – New College Village – are situated on Anzac Parade, Kensington at The University of NSW. The colleges are a 15 mins drive or a bus ride to

- The Central Business District
- Shopping centres
The area is well serviced by public buses and there is a bus stop just near the front door.
Off street car parking is available in the UNSW parking area next door to NCV (subject to UNSW parking conditions).
A convenience store is located at New College Village and it is only a 5 minute walk to cafes, restaurants, shops, banks and the UNSW gym and swimming pool.
Disabled Access to New College
New College has a lift providing disabled access to all facilities and levels of the College. The College also has a limited number of disabled access bedrooms and bathrooms/ensuites.
