Accommodation fees for residents in standard rooms are $6,013 per semester. The fees for an ensuite room are $6,765 per semester.

2009 Accommodation Fees

The payment plan
Session One –
- Fee Deposit: $1,000 (Payable on acceptance of place at New College)
- Balance: $5013 (Payable on or by Friday 3 April)
Session Two –
- Fee Deposit: $1,000 (Payable by Friday 26 June)
- Balance: $5,013 (Payable on or by Friday 14 August)
Other Fees & Charges
- Registration Fee: $100 (New Residents Only)
- New College Student Association Annual Membership Fee: $150
- O’Week Activity Fee - New Residents (Freshers Only): $150
- Gym membership (subsidised by New College) - full year membership only available: $100 (optional)
For new residents payments are as follows:
- Fee Deposit*: $ 1,000
- Bond*^: $ 1,000
- Total Payment Due upon offer acceptance: $ 2,000
* Payable on acceptance of place at College; ^ refundable on permanent. departure
Terms & Conditions
The fees listed above are based on the following:
- Please note if you are a prospective future resident you are required to submit a non-refundable Admission fee of $25 with your application.
- UNSW Internet usage is charged at $0.006/mb (rates may change).
- Washing machines cost $1 to use while driers are free.
- Linen is provided on a weekly basis.
- Residents must vacate their rooms and remove all personal items during the mid year break in July or pay the vacation rate fee. Free storage is available, but this is limited.
- Above rates are inclusive of GST where applicable.
