In September 2007 New College turned the first sod on an exciting new $36 million building development project. New College constructed a 319-bed postgraduate residential village - New College Village (NCV) - on a prime site diagonally opposite New College on UNSW western campus.
New College Village is a stimulating and diverse community in which to live, study and enjoy life. A vibrant community of over 300 mostly postgraduate residents, the Village offers a strong system of pastoral care and support implemented by 6 senior residents and a variety of academic tutors and fellows.

The mission of New College Village is to foster a diverse and supportive community founded on Christian faith and values, encouraging academic excellence, service to society and lifelong learning.
