The John Niland Scientia Building (building G19) is located at the top of University Mall right in the centre of the Campus. New College is located in the south east corner of the UNSW Kensington campus; we are located on the northern border of Kingsford, close to the corner of Anzac Parade (south bound carriage way) and Barker Street. New’s neighbour to the south, Warrane College is located on the corner of Anzac & Barker and New College is around 100 metres to the north. Please note that parking is limited. Scientia Access & Parking Info (Tues)
The most convenient way to access the Scientia Building if travelling by motor vehicle is to enter campus via Gate 11 (off Botany Street) and park in the parking station near the AGSM (and opposite the Mathews Building). It is then a relatively short walk past the library to the Scientia building. We will provide some signage along the way. Campus maps are also available from the UNSW and New College websites.
New College Access & Parking Info (Wed & Thurs)
The most convenient way to access New College if travelling by motor vehicle is to enter campus via Gate 14 (off Barker Street) and park in the Barker Parking Station near Old Main Theatre (and opposite Rupert Myers Building). It is then a relatively short walk down Southern Drive past Barker Aprartments, Shalom, House at Pooh Corner and Warrane to New. We will provide some signage along the way. Campus maps are also available from the UNSW and New College websites.
UNSW Parking Options & Prices
- There is Pay & Display Ticket parking at UNSW. Payments can be made in cash only. Paid Parking is in operation All Day until 7:30pm (week days).
- All day parking is on the upper floors of the Barker St and Botany St Parking Stations.
- Short Term Meter Parking is available through all Gates and is located on the ground level outdoor parking areas.
- 2P Short Term Parking (Silver Ticket) $2 Per hr.
- All Day Parking (Blue Ticket) minimum $4/5 hrs, pro rata up to $8 for 12hrs.
